- BUCCANEERS SIGN THIRD-ROUND PICK MIKE GLENNON -
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed quarterback Mike Glennon to a four-year contract on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers selected Glennon in the third round of this year’s draft.
During his final season at North Carolina State University, Glennon completed 330-of-564 passes for 4,031 yards and 31 touchdowns. With his additional two rushing scores, Glennon had 33 total touchdowns in 2012, the fourth-highest single-season total in Wolfpack history.
Glennon started 26 of the 36 games he played in for the Wolfpack, completing 646-of-1,069 passes for 7,411 yards and 63 touchdowns.
Many speculate that if incumbent starter Josh Freeman struggles at any point during the early part of this season, head coach Greg Schiano will not hesitate to go with Glennon as the Bucs’ new starter.

Spectacular work.
